January 21, 2018 - 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Mission: Please help 14-year-olds Kyle and Lleyton Rutz of BrickDreams spread hope and encouragement to others.
How: Collect and donate new or gently used LEGOS or DUPLOS and/or help sort them for redistribution.
Why: BrickDreams gives the sorted bricks to professionals and community service programs that help young victims of domestic violence or abuse and (for this year only) the victims of the wine country fires.
Police officers, sheriffs, fire fighters, chaplains, state and county agencies, and community service programs, such as WEAVE and Stand Up Placer, use the bricks to calm and encourage children in transition.
Special Note: Duplo blocks are especially needed at this time to support community partners that work with young children.
When: Lego/Duplo drive will run Nov.-Jan. 14, 2018
Lego Sorting will be held Jan. 21, 2018 (watch this space for more details)
Collection boxes are available in the church lobby (near the connecting wall.)
